Anthony has been heavily involved in many phases of business management for his entire career. After graduating Temple University with a degree in Psychology, he spent five years as a securities trader for JP Morgan on Wall Street. His involvement in buying and selling securities was too removed from the people-to-people interaction and customer service he enjoys so much. Anthony also worked in real estate investing where he gained a keen eye for home design and the value of home upgrades. With over 15 years of sales experience, starting HSU, a business built on the foundation of working closely with homeowners, ensuring that customer service and satisfaction is the driver for all activities, provides Anthony with daily motivation. In fact, as he states frequently, “It’s not about the money spent, it’s not about the material used, it’s about how the customer feels after the job is done.” In his off-hours, he enjoys frequent traveling, having visited Mexico, Jamaica, and Europe, in addition, he closely follows football, boxing, and college basketball.
Director of Operations
Dan comes to HSU with more than 20-years of construction experience. He started in the industry while in high school and immediately knew that it would be his profession. Over the years, Dan’s wide range of experience on various job sites enabled him to gain a tremendous proficiency in all facets of the design, building, and remodeling process. Among the many skills he has acquired during his career includes a meticulous focus on the details of every project. He understands this attention to detail is necessary to exceed customer expectations for design and performance. Dan works closely with all HSU crews to make sure that these values are maintained on each HSU project. In addition, his in-depth understanding of the elements required to complete a successful bathroom upgrade ensures all HSU customers receive the very best service and quality of installation available. His broad knowledge of all areas of construction, combined with his focus on customer service is a key component of the HSU ServicePlus™ commitment. Dan states, “Family is the most important thing to me and I’m fortunate enough to have a second family at HSU.” In his free time Dan loves to play basketball and with the help of his amazing wife Samara together they coach their two children in the sport.
Head of Client Services
Alex has been with HSU from the start. His communications degree from William Paterson University propelled him into the world of music and radio broadcasting. With ten years’ experience in the New York City telecommunications market he made the switch to help the launch effort at HSU. Alex manages the back office operations and has the ability to comfortably connect with virtually anyone he speaks to making it easy for him to empathetically understand the wants and needs of HSU customers. In his spare time Alex enjoys spending time with his family, Spanish singing and working out.
Tracy comes to HSU after more than 20 years in various management roles within the food and beverage industry. Her vast experience ensuring responsive service to a wide range of catering and club customers, including the fans of the Phoenix Suns and Arizona Diamondbacks, makes a great fit for our team. Tracy graduated from California State University, Chico with a dual degree in Business/HR Management. She has boundless energy which helped her run 15 marathons and 12 half-marathons around the world. In her spare time Tracy and her boyfriend enjoy restoring old-style phonographs for the late 1800’s through the 1920’s. In addition, Tracy enjoys speaking to the many customers of HSU providing them with assistance before, during and after their project is complete.
Customer Service Representative
Candice recently joined HSU after a ten-year career in retail. With a strong background in customer service at multiple retail organizations, she was drawn to role at HSU because of the potential to use her outgoing personality during frequent interactions with homeowners. Knowing the pride people take in the place where they live, Candice particularly enjoys the opportunity to help people initiate the upgrades for their homes. In her spare time Candice enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with animals.
Richard’s love of construction has been built in over 11 years in the industry. His first ten years were in all phases of home building with a premier custom home builder in New Jersey. For the past year, he has been heavily involved in home remodeling, which includes all aspects of upgrading homes to ensure they met the design and performance expectations of the homeowners. During his career, and his six years in the Army National Guard, Richard learned the value of quality control, logistics, and timing as key drivers to deliver the highest level of performance for all projects. He brings this same dedication and effort to ensure every project meets the high standards of our company to exceed customer expectations and maintain the HSU commitment to excellence.
Customer service and communications run through Bobby and have for years. He studied communications while attending Raritan Community College. Then he transformed his love of cooking and serving and working with people to open his own restaurant, Bobby G’s Inn located near his hometown of Raritan, New Jersey. Looking for a challenge and a change of locale, Bobby picked stakes and moved down Key West, Florida where he worked as the beverage manager for Key West Hilton Resort. Enjoying the sun, sand and many visitors to the resort was a great interlude for Bobby but, being New Jersey-born and bred, he wanted to return home. Bobby found his way back to the state working a variety of customer service positions before opening another restaurant in Manville, New Jersey. Now Bobby is using his joy of working with people to help them realize their dreams of home upgrades as part of the 1 Day Bath team. He brings a high level of thoughtfulness and detail focus to ensure all our customers gain the benefit of his eye for design and the skill of our installation crew to provide the best option for their homes.
Lauren rejoins 1 Day Bath after a time away running her own home renovation business. Lauren brings a full slate (comprehensive) of home upgrade and remodeling expertise and years of experience that will benefit our customers. Her passion for home renovation started at an early age. She built her first home at the age of 18 and has been buying, remodeling and selling homes ever since that time. She even has her New Jersey real estate license. Her affinity for designing kitchens and bathrooms, determining the optimum layout, function and materials to ensure the best look and performance for any home, stand as Lauren’s hallmark of excellence that her customers appreciate. When not helping 1 Day Bath homeowner customers realize their visions for bathroom upgrades, Lauren pursues her love of home sales and renovation throughout the state.
Mike has a background in education and more than 30 years of wide-ranging construction experience. His experience includes framing houses, finish carpentry, electrical work, and plumbing. Throughout his career Mike’s attention to detail and unique approach to any challenging situation ensures his team will work hard to resolve all issues, no matter how difficult, with effective and efficient solutions. Mike achieves excellence by always maintaining a customer-first approach, ensuring that every effort he makes on a project places the homeowner’s best interests above all else.
David spent more than a decade working with nonprofits managing and developing programs for individuals with developmental disabilities. This included assisting contractors adapting homes for the disabled. His enjoyment of contracting led him to move full-time into construction installing high end heavy glass shower enclosures for large developers such as Toll Brothers, Lennar and Walter's Group. Beyond his attention to detail, David places a priority on customer service to ensure that every customer is 100% happy with project he works on. In his off hours, he enjoys a variety of activities with his wife at the pool hall, on a motorcycle charity ride or at family events.
Lead Service Technician
Kyle brings a wide variety of past experience to his role at HSU. He gets involved in many areas of production at HSU; the measuring of bathroom upgrades, warehouse quality control, product delivery, and service calls. He spent time working in a variety of high-pressure warehouse organizations (UPS, Fedex and Amazon) in different capacities; logistics, loading and product organization. During this time Kyle developed a focus on the details to ensure a smooth flow of items as they moved through the individual processes. He also spent a year in the Navy and time in sales for cell phones and liner fleet sales. These experiences, combined with his seven years, and counting, as a Firefighter/EMS Technician for South River, New Jersey instilled in Kyle a keen understanding of customer service and support. He offers HSU customers the technical knowledge to accurately measure for any type of bathroom upgrade and resolve any issues combined with an understanding approach regardless of the situation. In Kyle’s spare time he plays in a softball league and enjoys gathering with family and friends around bonfires.
